Is going solar expensive?
YES. But just like cars and real estate properties, having solar power should also be treated as an INVESTMENT as the cost returns in the form of SAVINGS.
Does solar power still generate energy during rainy or cloudy days?
YES, as long as it is daytime, your solar power system still generates energy but at a LOWER OUTPUT as compared to during sunny days. Energy generation may drop to as low as 20% depending on how cloudy it is.
What is Net Metering?
Net Metering is the process of exporting excess energy generated from your solar power for half the rate. It is like selling your excess energy to be deducted from your next electric bill. Net Metering is best suited for customers with heavy usage of appliances during NIGHTTIME.
